Job Description

Role Mission


The Digital Content Coordinator will support the Gucci North America Digital team in supporting the vision that the U.S. and Canada websites are aligned to the Company and Worldwide (WW) standards. The Digital Content Coordinator ensures that the web content on Gucci.com is accurate, current, and supportive of sales conversion goals.


Key Accountabilities

  • Create, update, and maintain product assortments (new collections, special collections, capsule pages, sell-out, cancelled styles, corporate promotions) for all categories on the US and Canada sites;
  • Determine visual layout of products by following visual and corporate guidelines provided by the worldwide content department;
  • Take part in overall site updates including quality assurance (QA) process and content management system enhancements;
  • Ensure website reflects correct prices, following any price changes (markups and markdowns) as communicated by buyers and eMerchandisers;
  • Participate in the QA of online catalogs and ad campaigns to ensure that they are linked to the appropriate product pages;
  • Partner with buyers, eMerchandisers, marketing and other teams to coordinate collection and gift guide launches as well as daily site updates, homepage refreshes and eCard plans;
  • Ensure website reflects the brand and is up to date with all corporate branding initiatives;
  • Identify opportunities and seek new initiatives to maximize sales;
  • Assist with intra-season remerchandising of all categories, including site refresh, phase-outs, and markups;
  • Support with daily QA (main category pages – ensure styles are falling into place following the guidelines provided at the beginning of a season and navigation links are all working as expected on the live site);
  • Assist with merchandising and remerchandising of all categories on Gucci.com on a regular basis - including site refreshes, phase-outs, markups, markdowns, and ongoing QA'ing;
  • Actively involved in site enhancement testing, learning, and implementing the new frontend and backend at Gucci.com;
  • Partner with other teams to share feedback;
  • Coordinate the execution of eCard and Homepage launches and proactively be involved with on-site updates.


Key Requirements

  • 2 years of experience preferred;
  • Experience with eCommerce/digital merchandising required;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Luxury brand/retail preferred.
