How To Succeed With Social Media Marketing

How To Succeed With Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing must be one of your main marketing arsenals to succeed in today's business world. With billions of people flocking to social media platforms daily, creating an online presence has never been easier. If done right, getting targeted traffic can be astronomical.  Buyers looking for your specific product or services will find you. The more eyeballs you get to see your business, the bigger your clientele grows resulting in an increase in your profitability.

Reasons Why You Should Consider Social Media Marketing:

What's So Important About Marketing on Social Media?

Using social media to grow your business requires three areas of focus that should become your primary goals.

1)  Focus on getting targeted leads. Millions of people go to social media every day.  That means you stand a chance of getting quality leads for your products, or services, even if they don't buy the first time.

2) Focus on building relationships with those leads.  They can become your customers. Social media marketing is all about building relationships.  I can't stress that enough.

3) Depending on the strategy you used to build your virtual relationships, the people who were once prospects can easily become your customers.

Your content should be geared towards accomplishing these three or at one or two of them. The story or call to action should lead to getting prospects, building relationships, and eventually turning those prospects into customers. Without these, your business will most likely get lost in the maze.

1) Focus On Getting Targeted Leads

Don't just sit and watch the crowd thinking they will flock to your business. Be strategic!  Put up the first block in building and growing your business.   They are your prospects who can become your loyal customers. So, tell them a story that arouses their curiosity.  Getting them to show interest in your offer is the first block laid in building a sustainable and successful long-term business.

2). Focus On Building Relationships.

Take your Social Media marketing seriously. because it is a business and not a hobby.  It's about producing something that yields returns with time, effort, investment, and effective strategy. What about branding? How do you get your potential customers to fall in love with your brand?  How do you want them to emotionally connect with your brand?  In other words, how can you get them to take out their wallet and make the first sale?

Create bite-size stories so you don't bore your readers.  People's attention span on social media is very short.  So, take out the fluff when building.  One way to do it is to outline what you want people to know about your business.  each part or each section is pointing to your goal - conversion.  Narratives foster relationships, and relationships build successful companies.

3). Turn Your Prospects into Buying and Paying customers.

After the first two comes the real deal.  Turning your prospects into buying and paying customers.

Don't exclude an urgent appeal for action in your narrative.  Whether It's a video or a text article, "a call to action" must be included. Include your link in your narrative.  Have your link ready and check to make sure it is not broken. Don't let your readers click away and go to your competitors who will feed their appetite.  Chances are, you will lose the sale.

Secondly, automate your response with a thank you note. Show appreciation for their patronage and keep in touch through newsletters and regular notification emails.  It can be Birthday wishes, a holiday greeting, Special discounts, new product introduction and so on.

A compelling call to action should be included in every video. Avoid leaving your audience in suspense. Urge them to proceed by clicking the link, registering, and embarking on the adventure. Don't be shy when you ask for that second date!

Take care of your readers and followers and they will take care of your bank account and your pocket.
